This silver necklace is hand-made by Lisa Gent in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, with three sterling silver "stones". Like beach stones, they seem rounded by the tide, and beautifully illustrate the subtleties of sterling silver.
Arranged in a tier from biggest to smallest, they are not unlike the rock cairns used to guide hikers over many of Maine's awe-inspiring granite peaks.
