"He was the strangest little bird I'd ever seen.  He had fluttered into the world of the studios and, could he not be swatted dead, I knew he would manage.  I had total faith in him."  - Maurice Sendak

The Girl closed in on the defiant fox to find that his mysterious presence was easily explained by the poor egg on the ground he had snatched.  Feeling protective of the little egg, she charged at the fox, flapping her arms to shoo him away.  The Girl kneeled down and gently picked up the small, warm, speckled egg.  Looking above her, she saw the nest that the egg must've fallen out of, and standing on tip-toe, she placed the small thing safely back in the confines of its home with its yet-to-be-met brother and sister eggs.

Artists Jeff Ryan and Barbara Edelman are fine art printmakers who work from the studio next to their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Jeff and Barbara use materials that have a low impact on the environment, and hope that each piece will have a high impact on the human spirit. Each miniature lithograph is hand-inked and hand-cranked through an antique printing press, then coated with an epoxy resin coating.
